Getting punted out of the game 1 hour into a 40 hour session is no fun.Į- I've seen anywhere from just 2 person co-op runs all the way to 8 or more player run empires.į- There aren't many even in public games.

We tend to go for vassal or tributary on defeat though, rather then ceding planets and killing someone off outright. Think of it as a big game of risk or any of the civ games, backhanded diplomacy is what makes stuff way more fun.

It does cheat though as in it uses more resources then it has. We play on large and running the game on fast speed, it takes us about 3 to 4 days to really start looking at the endgame.
